Common questions
Is my information private?
Yes. Everything you enter stays on your phone. ASHA PATH has no accounts and no servers, and the app has no networking capability at all, so we never see or collect your data. See the privacy policy.
A clinic gave me this app. Can they see what I write?
No. There is no dashboard and no report, and nothing leaves your phone for one to be built from.
How do I lock the app?
During setup, or later in settings, you can set a passcode or use Face ID so only you can open it. There is no recovery route for that passcode — if you forget it, the contents cannot be recovered, by us or by anyone.
How do I add the people I can call?
Add them during setup, or from “People & meetings”. If you save a phone number, that person becomes one tap away on the lifeline for a hard day.
Does ASHA PATH find meetings for me?
It points you at the fellowships’ own finders — AA, NA and SMART Recovery — which open in Safari. The app holds no meeting listings of its own, because an out-of-date listing is worse than none. You can note the meetings you attend in your own words.
What if I use again?
There is a screen for exactly that, and it asks you for nothing. It is reachable from the lifeline on any screen. Nothing in the app resets, and your day count does not move.
Does ASHA PATH give medical advice?
No. It is a wellness companion, not a medical service. It walks beside your treatment and recovery, never instead of them. Follow the guidance of your doctor and your treatment team.
What does it cost?
Nothing. ASHA PATH is free, with no purchases inside it and no subscription.
How do I remove my information?
Because your data is only on your device, deleting your entries in the app — or deleting the app itself — removes everything.
